Battery Russell, Fort Stevens State Park It was constructed by the U.S. Army toward the end of the Civil war and remained active through World War II. The fort was built to protect the North against an English invasion from Canada, should the British join the Civil War on the Confederate side. In its long history, Fort Stevens never fired its guns in anger.
About Me
- Timm and Em
- Timm and I have been together for 4+ years. Although it is a long distance relationship, we are very happy and hope to someday be together forever! We are lucky enough to see eachother once a month and we LOVE our time together! We have been through a lot and our love has only grown stronger because of it. We are best friends and soul mates. Timm has 2 boys, Griffin 10 and Maxx 8. I have TJ, 11 and Eliza 8. The kids love to be together and get along great! It is a little crazy when we are all together, but so much fun! We love our kids more than anything! Timm is a graduate of the University of Illinios with a degree in Engineering and I graduated from Ottawa University with my degree in Elementary Education. Timm has a great job that he loves with Caterpillar Machinery in Peoria, IL. and I teach jr. high at the best school in Mesa, Az., Kino. We both love our jobs and love what we do.

Exploring Oregon
On Sunday, we went exploring some sites on the coast of Oregon. We first stopped by the Peter Iredale, a ship that sunk in the early 1900's. It was so cool!!

It was interesting to see how America was protected in that area during war.

Oregon 2008
TJ, Eliza, Morgan, and Jai
There are wild bunnies that live all throughout the RV park. The kids loved chasing them and catching the babies! Morgan and Jai are friends that we met last summer and are from Canada. The girls get along so great and have so much fun together.
As we were heading home from dinner, we saw tons of elk...so we stop for a picture

Father's Day Timm!!
You are the BEST!
On Father's Day, Timm, Me, Griff, Maxx, Debbie, Phil (Timm's parents), Darin, and Noah (neighbors) went to the Peoria Chiefs Baseball game. It was fun....until the storm came and it was cancelled. Timm and Darin won a raffle for an autographed wooden bat which had Ryne Sandberg's signature and I got Jackson's (from Hannah Montana) autograph for Eliza. She was super excited! I wish she was there to see him herself!
